New energy industry have faces the trade frictions

In the tenth China New Energy International forum held recently, trade remedy investigations bureau, deputy director of the Ministry of Commerce Tom pointed out that as the representative of new PV, energy industry is a sunrise industry of this century. However, China’s off grid solar system interdependency are up to 65% on the foreign market. it is destined that the road is not easy to go through.

Tom introduced, in recent years, global energy market are continued to differentiation, adjustment, China’s new energy industry trade friction features are as follows: on the one hand, there are huge trade friction in the main export market, such as USA, EU, Canada, Australia and other countries have start a remedy investigation for our PV products, some other domestic industry in the major exporting market is also seeking trade protection, not only for the PV cell and module products, but also related to wind energy products. On the other hand, in the course of trade friction, there are many discriminatory rules and practices in the anti-dumping, anti-subsidy investigations, so that China's photovoltaic enterprises are facing greater challenges in dealing with trade friction.Tom said, after unremitting persistence and pragmatic response of the parties, there have been some positive changes for our PV’s environment. First, some trade remedy cases should support the foreign markets. Second, to expand the market. Third, many companies are actively seeking to "go global", and constantly improve international distribution of products production and marketing, not only reduce the negative impact of foreign trade friction of Chinese enterprises, but also reverse the passive situation of the whole trade friction. At the same time, by the efforts of relevant department, the domestic PV market are continue to expand, it create a favorable conditions for China’s PV industry out of the woods.
